Our Mutts Manifesto
At Martyn’s Mutts, we’re all about building trust, joy, and understanding between dogs and their humans. Founded in 2021 by Martyn and his rescue dog Freddie, we combine years of hands-on experience with a genuine love for every dog we meet. Whether it’s walking, training, or supporting rescue charities, our manifesto is simple: happy, healthy, and well-loved dogs in every home.
From Rescue Roots to a Thriving Pack
In November 2021, after a number of years working with dogs volunteering, Freddie and I took a leap and started Martyn’s Mutt and we’ve never looked back.Freddie, my lovable, loyal and slightly mischievous rescue pup from the amazing Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary, is my trusty sidekick and the heart of Martyn’s Mutts. Freddie has been my greatest teacher and inspiration along this incredible journey, helping me put my knowledge and skills to the test every day, learning all things about dog behaviour, training and care.
Guided by Paws, Fueled by Passion
We've had the pleasure of working with countless incredible dogs (we stopped counting ages ago!). Each dog has added something special to our pack, teaching us as much as we’ve taught them. Whether it’s a shy pup who just needs a little confidence boost, or a high-energy pooch ready for an adventure, Freddie and I pour our hearts into making every dog’s experience exceptional.
